Putrajaya was a planned city, built from the ground up in 1995 to form the Federal Government administration centre of Malaysia. The buildings in Putrajaya have been purpose built for the government administration, Prime Ministes offices and law courts - Palace of Justice. Located only 25kms south of Kuala Lumpur and 20kms from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. There are some impressive bridges built in Putrajaya including the Seri Wawasan Bridge and the Putra Bridge. Putra Mosque is an impressive building over looking the lake. To get around Putrajaya there is a convenient monorail with 23 stations dotted around Putrajaya. Getting to Putrajaya Malaysia There is a modern high speed train service (KLIA) connecting Kuala Lumpur and the International Airport to Putrajaya. The trip takes 25 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, around 15 minutes from the airport.
