Penang has a good nightlife scene from casual bars, English Style pubs and loud nightclubs
For some trendy, up market bars head to the start of Jalan Penang. Here you will find a pedestrian mall which is lined with bars and restaurants with chairs and tables in the outdoors along the mall.
Along Jalan Penang you will find The Monkey Bar, Boom Boom Chambre, Vancouver Voodoo Bar . Drink prices are more expensive than the bars you'll find along Jalan Chulia. For a bottle of Tiger beer will set you back RM13 compare to RM8 on Jalan Chulia.
