Highlights of Malaysia
Mersing is on the east coast of Malaysia in the state of Johor. Mersing is located around 3 hours north of Singapore. Mersing is a gateway to Tioman Island and to 40 other tropical islands along the coast.
Pulau Besar is another small tropical island off the coast of Mersing wit accommodation.
There is not alot to do within Mersing itself though there are a number of places to visit which are not far from Mersing.

Endau-Rompin National Park is located just north of Mersing. The largest National Park in Malaysia the Endau-Rompin covers an area of 870km2.

Ferries from Mersing to Tioman Island take around 1hr 50 minutes or a speedboat takes 45 minutes.

Buses from Johor Bahru take around 2.5 hours to get to Mersing..
Buses to and from Kuala Lumpur take around 6 hours.
